My Memories
Once again, I hide
in my mind. In the rubble
of what remains of my being.
Fragmented Memories
between the past and the present
of my life and in my mind.
They are memories of abandonment.
They awaken like a wolf.
The one that’s always stalking me
comes back, tries, and takes advantage
to make my life a living hell.
It's the wolf. Run and get out.
So I go back and hide.
I look for another place. I don't answer.
Trying not to wake
the infernal beast.
The one that wants to tear me apart.
But I do manage to break free.
I turn around and destroy
the beast from hell.
Don't think you'll live forever.
No one stalks me;
no one tries to take advantage of me.
And that's how the memories die—
—that were lost that day.
saying… I wouldn't come back.
