Storytelling exercisesare very helpful for children's brain development.
In this article, I'll share a brief exercise with you so that, no matter where you are, you can create a storytelling for a child on the go.
Ask the child to tell you what happened to him or her today or yesterday.
In response, tell them: “Imagine that in that story, you had your favorite superpower, a magic wand, or that you were a king (or a queen).” Add an extra element to the story the child told you.
Then, ask them to retell the story, this time taking that new element into account.
You can do this exercise either in writing or orally.
