Comparing oneself to others and the inferiority complex is an issue that affects many people. In this short piece, I explore the topic a bit while doing a writing exercise.

In the following exercise, the goal is to summarize as much as possible, trying to say more with fewer words while maintaining the same rhythm.

Comparing ourselves again. I have. He has. I have more.

This absurdity undermines your self-worth

That you're worth less. That you're falling behind.

That's how feelings of inferiority creep in.

It's a matter of upbringing or social status. You're IN or you're OUT.

Expectations, meeting them, fitting in.

Some on pedestals, others in niches.

They're just wounds.

By recognizing that we are imperfect.

We all feel fear and insecurity.

That will change.

They will come down from the sky, and you will rise from the darkness.

Leaving that behind.

Breaking the mold.

Achieving Peace.
